Dear Momma,
It's so nice to "meet" you
First and foremost, we would like to thank you for visiting this site and inviting us into this space with you. We understand that this may be a very vulnerable and painful time, and we’re humbled to be sitting here with you. We commend you for educating yourself and exploring the options that are available to you in order to make the very best decision for you and your baby. Your strength to this day and beyond is praiseworthy.
We understand that life doesn’t always work out as we’ve planned, but there can be so much beauty formed from our heartbreak. We tried to grow our family for many years to no avail. We’ve had to change lanes and adjust our plans many times. Our journey presented us with loss, but through it, also our greatest treasure. In late 2020 we adopted our beautiful daughter, and she is the greatest gift from our heavenly father and her first family. In early 2022 as we prepared to begin the adoption process again, we received the biggest surprise - I was pregnant! While we were praying for a second child, after years of failed infertility treatments, never did we think they would come from my womb. In late 2022 our son, Todd (named after my father), joined our family. Today we hope to again grow our family through adoption, and that includes walking this road with you.
Promises are hard, especially when it's to someone we've not yet met. However, we can promise you these things:
- Your son or daughter will know that your heart is fearless and full of love for them.
- They will never question how incredibly loved and special they are.
- We will strive every day to provide them with every opportunity available as they grow into the incredible person God made them to be.
- Not a day will go by that our appreciation of your decision will waiver.
We thank you for getting to know us in this digital space. Conveying the true measure of our hearts within this forum is no easy task, but we hope that you feel the warmth of our lives through this site. We want you to know that we’re cheering for you from the sidelines. We’re praying for your continued strength and God’s guidance as you choose your parenting plan. We believe in you and your ability to make the best decision for you and your child, and if you chose adoption, we would be honored to come alongside you.
